i just got it to day doc called it in for me after my b/w all came back...my polactin was 29.4 and she said that was high.what i was wanting to know has anyone taken it or is taking it now. if so did it help you with ovulating,weight if you had a weight problem..

I took Bromocriptine for a while. It didnt work for me very well at all. I take Dostinex (Cabergoline) It works VERY well for me.
The Bromo never helped me with ovulation, the Dostinex did. I'd gone 14 months without a period before I started taking the Dostinex.

I'm on bromocriptine. Is has worked very well to lower by prolactin levels into an acceptable range. However it has not assisted in ovulation (although, neither has the metformin or the clomid).

I've been taking it for a couple of years now. My prolactin levels were elevated. I guess they are okay now but I don't have insurance or a doctor to check them so I just keep taking it. I just wish it wasn't so expensive.

i have been on it now for i think a month..everything is going great... this was the first time i have ovulated..and af came with out poping my provera pills..i going to see want the dr wants to do next....thank you all for your replys
