Default Bruising with Metformin/Baby Aspirin?

I'm on day 26 of taking Metformin and baby aspirin. Yesterday, I noticed two bruises on the backs of my thighs, one on each leg. One is ~2" above the knee and the other is ~3" above the knee. I found the symmetry and location of the bruises to be really strange. I do not recall any trauma to the backs of my legs that would've caused the bruising. I also have a bruise on my knee, but I'm not worried about that one since it is more likely to have been bumped.

Has anyone else experienced anything like this? I emailed my doc in case it's related to the meds. This was also my first month on Femara and acupuncture (as prescribed by the doc). Thanks for any input!

Baby aspirin is also used as a blood thinner so it's possible that you could have barely bumped your legs on something (& not even realize it) to cause the bruising.

Thanks for responding. You're probably right. I bruised easily even before taking baby aspirin, so perhaps I am even more prone to bruising now.

I have bruises on my legs too... did not think it could be met but maybe it is....
What is baby aspirin used for? I have heard it can help you get pregnant and reduce inflammation and general aging of body.
