Default Bummer of a day

Wow how things can change on a dime. We had a beta hcg test a week ago, and it came back as a BFN. The RE recommended ovulation induction with clomid and injectibles along with an IUI for this cycle, so we went in for more tests yesterday. We went through everything on the meds and what we were to do and ultrasound. The uterus lining was very thick which was a concern, but the RE decided to proceed.

Well, two hours later, I got a call from the office that the blood test came back with a BFP!?! That would be great except that I also started to bleed pretty heavily yesterday. So, in the end, I got great news and horrible news in the same day.

In the middle of all of this, hubby had a fender bender and totalled the car.

This was our second early loss - the last one was in April. I keep feeling positive because at least we can do it. Now we just need to find the sticking secret.

Thanks for listening to one bummed soul.

Jennifer

Jennifer
I am so sorry for your loss. I hope that DH was ok being in an accident that totalled the car. Talk about one thing after another. Just not fair.

Hopefully you can find the sticking secret.

Thanks for the hugs and support ladies. I'm not nearly as upset about the car now. That all seemed kind of dumb with everything else going on.

I'm kind of grateful that I didn't have more time to really know I was pregnant this time, or to get excited. I pretty much knew from the first moment that it wasn't going to happen. There are good things to every experience. Hopefully we learned some more about what to do, and what to do next time.

Thanks again for just listening. It makes all the difference in the world to know that someone else understands.

Jennifer
