Default Bumps on skin?

Hey Im a guy but Im posting here because it's the only actual active face care forum I can find. My face is pretty clean but around my chin and under my bottom lip I have these little spots that are a nightmare. When I pop them a thin string of white comes out and they disappear and I managed to do that to the ones under my lip but I cant seem to get rid of the ones to the left and right. When I try pop them they just go red and then start to scar so I can;t do that and I dont know any cream that works.

Im starting to think they could be ingrown hairs? but Im not sure about this so Im asking if anyone ehre knows what they are?

Well heres a picture for reference:

As you can see they are really small and hrd to get rid of.

Any advice? Cheers

Use a product like clean & clear on the spot treatment, it is a gel and works great. Have you ever tried Proactive? Also a really great product line. Best of luck finding something that works for you!

They look like blocked pores to me - I have had it too... in fact I get them now. I don't have a special remedy for it and I doubt they are ingrown hairs. Facial scrubs are quite good to exfoliate the skin and use a good all-round acne facial wash. Tea tree oil products are good as well - perhaps look into those!? The reason it goes red when you try to pop it is because the "gunk" is embedded so deeply in the pore that you can't just squeeze it out like that! You might find if you steam your face to open your pores up you had more success, though I wouldn't advocate this myself as you can make the pores infected by squeezing them and introducing bacteria.

it sounds like you need a product with saliycylic acid in it to exfoliate the pores gently...it actually cleans out the pores themselves and when you wash your face with a soft cloth rubbing very gently, your skin may clear right up....

try to get a aloe based 2% SA gel that you can use on your face in the morning and again at night. SA will also help alot with redness swelling and inflammation especially if you are really consistent with its use because it has anti-inflammatory properties to it....

best wishes....

www.acne.org has a very active message board. I recommend drinking green smoothies everyday! (Smoothies made with fruit and leafy greens. They are delicious and very healthy - cleared up my acne in a little over a month). http://www.acne.org/messageboard/ind...owtopic=108917 A 2% salicylic acid solution should help as well, and go to this link: http://www.zerozits.com/Articles/acnedetect.htm to make sure the products you're using don't have acne causing ingredients. I really like the acne skin care line by Paula Begoun.
