I don't know really, you might try caladryl lotion for the burn and some concealer make-up over that. Sorry, I have never had to deal with this. I always just pluck or shave.

I use surgicream, which comes with a soothing balm to use afterwards. Maybe try some aloe vera on it? Since it works for "burn-burns", maybe it would help?

I'm sorry--the only time I've had problems was when I didn't use the balm, and then put my usual moisturizer on a few hours later--then it was realllllly stinging...

You know, maybe some milk of magnesia might help? I know it helps with inflamed facial skin, as far as breakouts are concerned....

Just another idea...

I use a hair removal cream that comes with a lotion to apply immediately after you remove the hair removal cream. Maybe applying something right after would prevent future burns?

It's worth a shot!

I quit using those hair removal creams because they burned me too. I found that it is best to not wash your face before using it because your own skin grease helps to keep it from burning. You may try something with aloe or anything that will keep your face moist. What about something for sun burns. That may help. I've never tried that before, but make sure it doesn't have alcohol in it. But I've found the best thing is for your own skin to produce oil. When I would burn my face, I just left it alone. It took a day or two for it to quit hurting. I know it hurts bad. I hope you feel better soon.

I would just use aloe vera or let it heal naturally. I was on a summer vacation from laser and I had my first treatment since may last thursday. I forgot how it felt, so when the lady asked me if it was too hot I said no. Well it was and it burned my face I have scabs all over my neck and cheeks. Looks like I took a beating. I am not using anything on my face because I don't want to infect it.

Try a Hot compress... Just take a wash cloth and soak it in really warm water and sit it on the area... i'd do this once or twice..It might help take down the redness and swelling. Then add some Aloe, or hyrocortizone cream. to the area. I had that happen when I was younger, and in school it sucked and the concealer just makes it look worse. It's good to do right after you have the burn.. but it might help now too.

As long as the Wash cloth is warm, It starts to get cold with in 5mins or so.. so if you did it twice you would get 10mins of heat to the area. Which should be helpful. It helps in area's you pluck as well... When I use to pluck my chin/jaw area.. I would do this and it took the redness and swelling away.

There's not much you can do but next time don't leave it on for as long.
I use cold water & then aloe vera.
Once it doesn't sting anymore I exfoliate to get rid of the dry skin & heaps of moisturiser.

Hey,
Thanks for replying.I did not leave it too long not even a whole minute...I did a test on my arms b4 I even put it on my face. But facial skin is more sensitive. It doesnt burn or hurt anymore but I'm concerned abt the scar (dark patch)it has left behind and I need a remedy for that.
I wont be using hair removing creams anymore.
