I can always tell when it has been too long between B12 supplements. I get depressed and sluggish.
I had never taken additional B12, but after being on Metformin for a couple years and eating strict vegetarian, I kind of went nuts and put two and two together.
I haven't noticed if it helps my weight at all, but i definitely have a better attitude and more energy when I take a once weekly methylcobalamin (in addition to random bites of cottage cheese through out the day).
