Default Yes.

When I started on Met back in September 2006, I went through a period whenever I ate too many carbs my stomach felt "foamy" and I would burb like a truck horn. I learned to "listen" to my met and cut down the carbs, and I've been fine ever since.

Hope this helps.

The doctor examined my lab results, quietly flipping through page after page. He sighed, closed the file, placed it on the table and then looked up at me over his glasses and said, "You just dodged a bullet."

I've been taking met for 4 years and I still burp, burp, burp all the time. I never had any other side effects after I got over the food aversion in the first few months. Certain carbs make it worse than others. For example, if I eat a Chik-Fil-A Sunflower Multi-grain bagel for breakfast, I burp all morning.

Amazing...Since reading this thread...I had not realized that my Met was the reason for my burping...

Thanks for the insight!!

I notice I burp a lot more when I eat a lot of carbs or drink more than one fizzy drink (usually diet coke)! It never happened before met, so I'm assuming the combo of those is the problem!
