Default bursting cysts?

OK, I've read several posts about pain when cysts burst. I've been back on BCP for 4 months now. Finally, I stopped spotting on them. However, today I had a stabbing pain in my left ovary (almost took my breath away) then felt a "leak" and had bunch of pink watery stuff--Sorry for TMI! Now, I'm spotting again. I'm only on my second row of pills and shouldn't start af for another 9 days. When a cyst bursts, do you bleed?

Default

I have, and I have also not. I have more discharge when I do and it is usually foul. I have intense pain for a while with mine though. I get the pain that lasts for at least a couple hours.
