My doctor increased my Buspar after I started having more anxiety problems than usual (which she said may be associated with the change of seasons and is contributed to by both PCOS and my seizure disorder).

Last night I started feeling very dizzy and had diarrhea. Then I woke up at 3 in the morning with the room spinning around and ran to the bathroom to throw up.

I do seem to have a very sensitive GI system that sadly probably prevents me from ever going to third-world countries again (had diarrhea 2 out of my 4 months living in Ecuador). I've also had 2 colonoscopies by now as the result of rectal polyps - my dad has colitis as well.

I've taken Buspar for years but this is the first time I've increased the dose. Even in Ecuador I wasn't throwing up so I am wondering if this reaction is Buspar related ...

I take Lamictal for my seizures as well (1600 milligrams daily) and that used to cause some mild dizziness but no other side effects like this.
Anyone have similar experiences?

Fortunately I had already postponed the 6 hour 20 minute train trip to my aunt's house this weekend - thank goodness!
