Default Buy Insurance as the SoulCysters ?

I am running out of cobra... sparing my sob story... I know the basics of insurance, but perhaps there are some solutions out there?

Can we as "soul cysters" perhaps buy a group policy? I would gladly pay membership fees to make us an "association/union type membership" group.
Anybody else have thoughts on HOW to MAKE this work? Anyone maybe interested?

Please post your input and ideas....

The owner of SoulCysters would need to:

1. Buys Group/business Ins. through one of the major carriers, which requires that she as a biz. owner files quarterly taxes with at least the number of employees (including herself) according to her state's ins. guidelines.

2. The prem. is calculated according to the age, gender, and health of her employees, which can include all of us members after having met the paid W2 employees. The more employees/members in her group plan, the cheaper, it will be.

Group/?Biz. insurance is guarenteed ins., which means that one cannot be declined for it; however, their pre-existing conditions (including misdiagonised, undiagonised, and wrongful diagonised) can and will extremely likely be excluded for the first 6 months to a year of coverage.

3. In addition, she would need to choose how she wants to handle ins. for her employees -- pays for it herself with her employees's prem. being deducted from their pay for their half of it, have employees pay ins. company directly, etc.

4. Employers are required to pay X% of their employees ins. (full time) according to their state's requirements.

The ins. companies can charge up to base price plus 67% based on their equation, which is determined according to the applicant's age, gender, and health.

The state to avoid at all cost is NY; their prem. start at $1000, from what I have been told by a few brokers.

Hope this helps.
