Default Buzzing/fluttering/twitching muscles

I have been having numbness/tingling in my left leg and at times both legs and arms/hands. My doctor checked all my reflexes and my heart and said based on the fact that I passed those with flying colors, it is doubtful it is a major heart or brain issue. He has me on anti inflammatory medicine as he believes the numbness in my left leg is due to sciatica/disc compression in my lower back.

However, in the last couple days the tingling has progressed to more of a buzzing/fluttering and sometimes twitchy feeling, and I have it all over – mostly in my abdomen and legs, but I’ve occasionally felt it in my arms and face too. It is constant, even at night when I wake up I feel it.

I KNOW I need to see a doc but I can’t for a few weeks due to an insurance issue. Does anyone have any idea what this could be? I’ve been searching online for answers and so far the only things I can come up with could be anemia or thyroid issues. I am desperate for some idea of what’s going on with me.

I've been having the same thing. Not the numbness and stuff, but I have been getting like a crawling feeling in my legs, arms, abdomen, even my eyelids have twitched on occasion. It happens mostly in my legs though and I just chocked it up to a circulation thing since I haven't been getting much exercise or movement in lately. If you find out what this is I'd love to know. Good luck and I hope you feel better soon.

Default Rls?

What about restless leg syndrome? The only time I've ever felt any "buzzing" in my limbs was when I was having a toxic reaction to spironolactone and ibuprofen (sometimes the two don't mix so well).
