I've been on Byetta for several months, as it is the only medication that guarantees that I ovulate. I did get pregnant in December and January but they were both chemical. When you get pregnant and are taking Byetta, they always make you stop and just stay on Metformin. So my question is, has anyone been told to stop Byetta once they ovulate and wait to see if they get a BFP or AF?
Im on byetta to for my typ 2 diabeties along with janument which is januvia and metformin combined. My doseage of byetta is 10mcg twice a day and janument 50/1000 twice a day. I feel when i quit the byetta my bad eating habbits come back.
The RE just told me once i get the BFP to stop the byetta and once the bata levels reach 1000 to start insulin.
Most important is find a doctor you trust and get along with and make sure he understands you.
Me (32) DH (35) dx pcos since age 14, 2 total mc, on femara 5mg.
