Angry Caffeine withdrawl sucks!

Grrr! I have been used to drinking several cups of coffee a day and now that I am ready to ttc I am trying to be as healthy as possible. I have been having only 1-2 cups of tea a day and maybe a few sips of coffee if I absolutely have to (headaches). It is very hard to do but I keep telling myself that there is a reason why I am doing it. Also I was getting heart palpitations when I was drinking a lot of caffeine and they have stopped so that is good too.

hello,
withdrawls of any kind are extremel hard. My mom has switched to half and half coffee. Meaing it is have caffine and have decaff. She doesn't make it you can buy it in the store. It is weaker but still has a little caffine. Sometimes to break a habit slow steps are needed. Just a suggestion. Good luck!!!

Oh I agree with Kmarie. Try doing some half-caff. It doesn't taste too bad and helps. I love my coffee and caffeine - and I have been caffeine free for almost two months now. I understand about the headaches, though. I know that when I start craving chocolate its really the caffeine that I want.
