I am from Edmonton, have lived here for just over 4 years now and I love it. I see Dr. Daniel Hodges in the downtown Baker Clinic.
I have seen many Edmonton & Area Cysters around and I have heard many times that we all wanted to get together at some point.
I would like to start a PCOS Support Group in Edmonton, something that's once a week or once a month, whichever will work with and for everyone. Where we can get together talk about life with PCOS.
If any Edmonton & Area Cysters are interested, please let me know and I will make a list of all who would like to get this thing on the ground.

Hi Corrie! I think that sounds like a fantastic idea. I see Dr. Jonathon Tankel downtown at the Hy's Centre. So even if it's just the 2 of us, I say let's do it!

I am envious!! I live about 2hrs north and I work shifts, so it isn't really likely that I'd be able to take part, but I do think that you gals have a great idea! I hope you'll get a few more interested. It is nice to communicate with others who you don't have to explain pcos to. BTW, I too have been seeing Dr. Tankel @ the Hys, but am now waiting to hear from IF clinic in Royal Alex. Good luck to you!

I'm from Athabasca. Being 2hrs out isn't my only obstacle as I do work shifts full time, and my husband and I don't get to see much of eachother as it is. But, I am soooooo interested in meeting with you gals. If you set dates on here I will watch for them and will certainly try to come in. I just don't want anyone working around me as my schedule would likely make meetings really infrequent, and I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one with a plate-full. So, please do keep me posted, and I will put the effort in from my end.

Hello Ladies .. I will be PMing you a date and time to be after christmas. With the festive season in full swing, things are about to get alot more hectic, and I want us all to be able to just sit and relax.

I just want to be able to meet with all you wonderful ladies and we can do whatever when we meet up. Having coffee and chat about what's going on in our lifes, maybe even make trips around town, go bowling or something really fun like that.
I am going to be making another Thread, with a list of us all who are in the group as well as the dates and times of all the get togethers, I am still working that out tho. Christmas is hectic this year!

SOME DAYS I DON'T EVEN CARE AND OTHER DAYS.... WELL I CRY A LOT. I HAVE A LOT OF PROBLEMS BECAUSE OF THE PCOS BUT I GUESS EVERYONE DOES RIGHT? I HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR PEOPLE TO TALK TO AND WAS SO HAPPY THAT I FOUND PEOPLE IN EDMONTON. I WOULD LOVE TO GET TOGETHER FOR A GROUP. I THiNK IT'S GOOD TO TALK. MY HUBBY TRIES BUT TO ME IT'S NOT THE SAME AS TALKING TO ANOTHER WOMAN.
