Hi! Welcome to SoulCysters! Would love for you to join our group!

We will be meeting (hopefully) 2nd or 3rd week in January 2005, next month. I haven't had time to sit and actually think on it just yet. But I will definitely email you and let you know.

There is a fountain full of info on this site that will help you in your journey.

How long have you been TTC? Have you gone over to the TTC threads? They have so much info over there.

I am a 25 yr old female that lives in southside edmonton. I see dr. mayo in the Hys center. I got diagnosed with pcos when I was 18 yrs old. When I saw this website I couldnt believe it. I would love to join your support group. I thought I was so alone in this illness. It makes me feel stronger to know that there are others out there!!!!

Hi,
I also live in Edmonton (UofA area). I was DX with PCOS in 2006. The only reason I was DX because I have long anov cycles and we were TTC for a long time without any luck. But after that I was lucky to get pregnant with my daughter very quickly on meds.
We are TTC again. I tried Vitex for a few months and got pregnant on it but unfortunately I lost the baby a couple of weeks ago. We are going to TTC again as soon as my OB, Dr Halleran thinks my body is ready. I will be taking Met and CLomid again. I'm not really looking forward to the side effects though!

hopingnaphtali oh no are not alone!!! There are so many ladies have PCOS with different symptoms. Are you taking MET?
It looks like this thread has been abandoned for a long time. Maybe there are other cysters here in Edmonton who will join us.

Hey Edmonton ladies,

I am trying to put together a support group as Corrie was saying. I am trying to figure out a place to meet. I have asked my church and they are gonna run it by the board, but it doesnt look that good. I was wondering if there are any other ladies out there that attend a church or place where they wouldnt mind letting us get together once a month or every 2 weeks. I think it would be really encouraging meeting other people in the city with this syndrome. I was also thinking that maybe we could meet at hawrelak park or something? any ideas? please post! strength is in numbers ladies we need to support eachother

I would definitely be interested in meeting others with Pcos. I don't know anyone with it, it would sure be nice to have that support!
I will give it some thought too about finding a place.

I am in Edmonton and am presently using the RAH fertility clinic.
