Exclamation Calling All Florida Cysters - BIG FL MEETUP! - X Post

I have found 14 cysters so far across the state of FL who want to meet up to share resources and support. Since we are all over, I thought we could meet in ORLANDO @ Disney or possibly somewhere cheaper... on a Saturday. Ladies could even carpool to save $$$ on gas.

Possible dates:
Sat Dec 6
Sat Dec 13
Sat Jan 10 (to avoid pesky holidays)

Please RSVP as soon as possible by posting here, sending me a private message, email, AOL/yahoo messenger, or wild pony express haha!

Sorry in advance for x posting but I *REALLY* want a good turnout in Florida!

Default Update

Update: We have a date - Saturday, Jan 17. Please email me at Lit ter Of 1 @gmai l.com (without ... or spaces and with 2 t's in litter) if you want to get on the carpool list because I can't keep everyone straight haha.

So far we have people coming from the panhandle, Tampa Bay area, near Jax, Miami, Orlando, Lakeland... so I'm sure we can find SOMEONE to help drive and save gas $$$.

No location yet, to be determined. Some people will be traveling from all over so I didn't want to do a potluck that invloved hot food. We're trying to keep it indoors just in case it rains.

Not for nothing, but if you do a potluck, you could give people the option of what they want to bring. Some people may have crockpots they don't mind packing up and transporting if they're driving a distance. Otherwise, if they don't feel comfortable bringing something hot, they could easily bring salad, drinks, chips, desserts, etc. For those who don't like cooking, there's also always the premade stuff at the grocery stores.

Just suggesting that you not take that off the list without letting those attending make their preference known (preferably through a poll, that way everyone can see the results )

As far as indoors - January tends to be a fairly dry month, plus you can usually find outdoor places that have things like gazebos and covered picnic areas. So again, that's not totally out of the question depending on the circumstances and preferences of the majority of the people wanting to come.
