Calling all IR dieters, need advice! Help! I just got my IR diet book and I've been reading it front to back and front to back again trying to familiarize myself with it. I get that you balance carbs with protein, but what I'm confused about is where certain items like Pizza fit into the scheme of things. I don't see it under mixed foods.
Also I make awesome chocolate chip cookies with soy flour, brown sugar substitute and fructose and semi-sweet chocolate. (I forgot to order the soy chocolate chips!) Anyway, how do I list that? I mean it is a non sugar baked good, but is it carb and fat or what?
Ugh, I hate trying new diets! I am used to the diabetic diet, and there are a lot of contradictions on what is a protein and what is a carb. |
