Hi Girls!! Ok-so-I finally got my NPC in the mail yesterday. I had to use provera to induce AF last month, and I would be CD36 yesterday. I didn't take an hpt because I had absolutely no signs of O and now no signs of AF. So, I started the NPC last night. I'm going to do 1/4 teaspoon for 14 days. Should AF start soon after I stop on the 14th day. Is it ok that I didn't take the HPT? I just didn't see any sense in taking one just to stare at another BFN. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Well, with some ladies af shows up sooner than 14 days, and some take longer. It all depends on your body. The first time I used it, I did it for 5 or 6 days and then forgot about it (got distracted) and af showed up 3 days later. The next time I used it af showed up on the 4th day of using it. Some ladies have used it for a month and still didn't get af. It isn't an instant fix by any means. Make sure you use it 2 times a day and alternate where you put it. I used mine in the morning after shower and then again when I went to bed. Good Luck.

I'm not sure what to tell you about taking an hpt but I will tell you my experience with NPC.
I started using it, 1/8 tsp 2 times a day on Feb 4th,(check your reccomended amount- mine I think is stronger than some others) 10 days later, I started AF. I waited 14 days after the last day of my period to start NPC again with the same results, 10 days after starting I got AF. Both times I stopped the NPC when I saw that AF was coming. This last time I went the whole 14 days of taking NPC and AF is actually just arriving (stopped NPC 4/13) My naturalist told me it will take a while to get my cycle normalized. I think it is working though cause my chart showed that I o'ed. I hope the herbs are helping!!
Good luck! Feel free to msg me if you have any questions.
How do you know for sure you didnt O? Did you chart?
You can never be too sure.

Hi Ellialex! Well, I guess I'm not for positive sure-but it would be a miracle if I O'd. I never did O on clomid--but--I may have in October, November, and December becuase I got a 32 day cycle those months on my own. But--had to use provera to induce last month. I had absolutely no signs of O so I just started using the NPC on CD36. Nope-I don't chart. I started it a few months ago, but it was just wacky and was driving me crazy trying to figure out what was going on. Are you thinking that I should take an HPT just to make sure? I guess I'm so tired of taking them for the past two years and seeing BFN that I would just about rather have a finger cut off-ya know.

Shellfish, I know what you mean. 4 years of seeing negative HTPs, I just expect it now. I never ovulated on Clomid either. I normally use Prometruim but used NPC this last time and it worked. I would do a HTP though. You can never be too sure. Better safe then sorry.
