I know this question has already been asked, but I haven't really found an answer... Are any of you taking cinnamon AND metformin? I've placed a call to my doc to ask what he thinks about doing both, but I'll probably be waiting until next week for a return phone call! Just wanted to see if any of you were doing both and what the deal is with that. Any advice would be appreciated =)

Faith- everyone says its neg...did another one today and it looks the same...its suppose to be darker the control line is to the right.
Lori- I think you can just not 100% sure. I recall seeing in some other cysters sigs that take both.

I would call that a positive or at least close enough.
As for me I have been taking 1600mg of vitex for about 5weeks or more. I started taking GTF chromium and 1500mg of cinnamon and bam 2 weeks and I freaking ovulated. I got 3 days of positive opks and I am in disbelief. I haven't o'd on my own in a LONG time. This really does work. THUMBS UP from me.

shyest - i tried to look at your chart... couldn't get it up. i am taking 1200mg of Vitex, for over 6 wks... no AF... no BFP... should I up it to 1600mg for a little bit? I take 1000mg of Cinnamon/100mcg Chromium, plus drink 2 tablespoons of natural apple cider vinager... my chart is erratic, it's hard to see if I actually O'd... should I up my cinnamon? I want to see some results....

Faith- I totally understand about wanting to see results. I want so badly to get AF so I can finally feel like I am heading somewhere. I started using NPC to get AF because without the  I really feel like I'm just spinning my wheels. @@ I hate this! PCOS sucks

Throw in a little black and blue cohosh, epo, licorice and dong quai all for good measure.

Faith- NPC worked for me but only with 1 brand out of the 2 brands i tried. You never know you should try it again.
You guys have me thinking about upping my vitex dosage hmm..
I definately cant wait to get cinnamon with more mg in it though so i can give cinnamon a nice fighting chance

Dana - can't wait to up my cinnamon either... i can double my dose, but i would be doubling the chromium too.... so... don't know. but i am seriously thinking about upping my Vitex... even for a month trial.. i will let you guys know tomorrow...

Yes I use the Rexall Cinnamon with Chromium. How much will you guys be upping your Cinnamon to? Unless I buy smaller cinnamon caps I will have to go to 3000mg a day. I am thinking of going to 1600 vitex as well. Im worried that 3000 mg of cinnamon and 2 tblsp of ACV may be too much KWIM? I'm so disappointed in myself though. I have been doing good on my low GI diet, and tonight I had a carb blowout  Does anyone know of anyone that got pg on Cinnamon and vitex?
