on some of the older threads there were some that got PG using Vitex.
It helped with regulating cycles and Oing etc..

Lindsay - I wouldn't up your cinnamon anymore... i am only taking 1000mg of it, i just want to up it to 2000mg... like your dosage. as far as Vitex... i am thinking about upping that this morning to 1600mg too. Yes there is success stories with Vitex, I have them all in my favorites giving me hope.... plus one of the SC got BFP at the end of April, and is telling me to hang on, because Vitex takes forever. She started taking it at the end of Feb... never got an AF, but got a BFP... we just got to be patient.

Lindsay and Dana - well, i upped Vitex to 1600mg.... i am upping my cinnamon to 2000mg... but the next time i buy it, i will probably by cinnamon by itself, because i really don't want that much chromium....

June 10th is my 12wks at 1200mg... so I probably won't take the 1600mg past that date. I will drop to 800mg a day... we'll see... depends on what my body does... it's a mystery...

Dana - I just read in the Soy thread, that Cinnamon may cause miscarraige... and no implantation... not sure if I want to up my cinnamon... aaaaaa what to do, what to do...

Here is what I'm going to do with my cinnamon. 2000mg till I get a confirmed ovulation, then I am going to cut it back to 1000 mg. I am going up to 1600 mg of vitex though

I dont see why it would hurt to up the vitex to 1600mg thats what my bottle says to take. 2 pills twice a day. Also, on the cinnamon I take 2 500mg in the morning then 1 at lunch then another before bed. I also, only take the gtf twice a day as directed. I really cant beleive I ovulated. Also, I have noticed my facial hair has slowed in growth. I didnt even know this was possible. :giggle:

Lindsay - not sure what GTF is.... I may do that too, with the Cinnamon...
shyest - I have used different brands of Vitex, they all have different directions... the one I have now says 1200mg for 8 - 12 wks.. then 1 a day. I haven't seen the 1600mg one, but... I know what I am doing hasn't gave me the results I want yet. I am happy for you. I am trying your dosages this month. I am glad you shared with us...

A couple of girls are talking about using Apple Cider Vinegar without Cinnamon. Maybe I can take Cinnamon thru O'... then stop. trial, and error, we will get this figured out.

ok so i was browsing through some other forums and saw the Hyponidd forum, apprently some girls have gotten pg on hyponidd and cinnamon. So I'm thinking about adding this to my regimine. Has anyone else tried hyponidd?

Lindsay - no i haven't tried hyonidd. i read up on it, and found gymnema sylevtre, one of the main ingredients, you can get at online herbal stores. hyponidd is purchased online from India. i thought about it, would rather try the Cinnamon and Apple Cider Vinegar first.... less complicated.

I totally understand wanting "less complicated". Im kinda thinking it would be a PITB to wait for something to come from India. I keep reading about women who O after starting herbs before they even get AF. I wonder if should start charting now... who knows. I dont think charting mid cycle would help since i wouldnt be able to see a good pattern.

Lindsay - I started charting mid cycle, I haven't had AF in 1 1/2yrs, and starting taking Vitex at 400mg... for about a month or so.. waiting for AF to show, and i decided to start charting, and up Vitex to 1200mg, if you look at the beginning I as at 96's, and then the day I upped Vitex, my temps went up to the 97's, it helps you know your body better, no matter where you start charting, you can see if you are ovulating, or if your temps are trying to work.... I would start, it won't hurt, and if anything.... it will get you in the habit, for when you do ovulate..
