I have a question for the cinnamon ladies... I read somewhere ( i think on this site) that cinnamon could lower progesterone. Anyone know about this?

I didnt exactly hear that but i heard cinnamon was not good for ttc...that it could prevent implantation and cause a m/c. another cyster on another thread suggested apple cider vinegar. After hearing that i stopped taking cinnamon( i havent been taking it long anyway) figured i would give myself a cycle or too with out it to see what happens.

My problem w/acv is that it seemed to aggrivate my met digestion difficulties. But I might just have to deal with it. Thanks Dana!

your welcome! i would still google it just to see..i havent actually done my own research yet..im sure there are lots of cysters that conceive with cinnamon so who knows but since my bottle is low mg and i want to get 1000mg i figured for now i would just take a little break.

All these questions about Cinnamon... and infertility... i decided to google this topic and thought I would share...HTH..
This link talks about the benefits of Cinnamon and fertility... PCOS/ Fertility tips article in the May 2008 Canadian Living Magazine http://www.pcosupport.org/forums/vie...aa11eb571bbc80

Anyway....
So... it helps lower our blood sugar, and helps us O', but not ok to take once we get pregnant. Maybe take Cinnamon until O'... and wait until next cycle?

Pretty interesting stuff..contradicts the other stuff with cinnamon.
i guess everyones body is different. regardless for now i have stopped until i go out and get my 1000 mgs

hi Dana! I am making lifestyle changes... pretty much I only drink water, eat lean meats, whole grains, veggies and fruit. Pretty much I am paying attention to my body and when I am ful, I stop eating, when I am hungry, I eat until I am full, but not stuffed - just satisfied.. I am trying to incorporate more activity in my "lifestyle" but it is hard. I started at the end of January and weigh every saturday morning. I didn't do too good this week, soI might not update it this saturday. LOL

thats great! ive been only drinking water too for a little while. not trying to do WW some weeks and others just trying low carb just changing up so i dont get bored but funny me and ice cream where best friends this week so i prob wont update either lol
