Default can anyone help?

My cycle this month is extremely confusing. I think I may have had an lh surge on day 9. AFter your surge, how long is it before you ovulate? Can it be several days? It is now cd 15 and am having crampy feelings like i usually do around o time, but no surge. I had some pink tinged cm after bd on cd 9 and 10 (both after bd...no other time). I am just now starting to have the cm I normally have with o. I am sore, achy around the ovaries like what normally accompanies O. I am just really confused. Could this be anovulatory? I need help! Thanks

Hi, Stacey. CD9 would be a little on the early side for an LH surge, but it's certainly possible (especially in PCOS Land where anything goes!). You will typically ovulate anywhere from 12 to 48 hours after your surge. Were you using OPKs? If so, you should know that a lot of people with PCOS get false positives on them all the time because our LH levels tend to be elevated all of the time. It sounds like you may be gearing up now to ovulate...or, yes, this could be an anovulatory cycle. Basically, anything is possible... If you chart (I never did), or CAN successfully use OPKs (I only ever got one false positive), or are being monitored by a doctor (I was the last seven months of TTC), then you should have a better idea if you are ovulating and when. GL to you!

I feel so full and bloated around my ovaries. The cm has changed, but still no dark lines on opk....I am so confused. I wonder if I am trying to release cysts b/c of the discomfort. I had a real sharp pain last night. ANy ideas?
