Default can anyone help on AF after m/c

Hi Guys,
Can someone please help me or at least tell me they have experienced the same thing!!!

I had a missed miscarriage back in April all was completed naturally (this was checked) and final last bit of blood from this was on 5 May.

I started to spot on 2 June and thought WOO HOO AF has arrived, but for 5 days it was just spotting (there when I wiped but nothing on towel). I was gutted but said it surely must be AF but just a lot lighter considering it was my first after M/C.

Well I started the same sort of bleeding again yesterday 21 JUNE. Its not getting any heavier, in fact it seems alot lighter than last one (if thats possible).

Went to see GP who assures me this is normal as body can take months to recover, but 2 bleeds in the one month???????

I cant find anyone on the net who has gone through this. GP says if I dont get a proper flow in July they will look into it. I am starting to get panicky now.

I really want to get back to trying again but as first was so light I said my body must not be fully ready and then this happened yesterday. 8:O

I am getting very worked up with it now. I even went and bought a clearblue fertility monitor just to make sure ovalation was ok after m/c and I have just had to reset the whole machine cause of the second bleeding that started yesterday :*(

HUGS to you.
I think that after a misscarriage is the most difficult time emotionally and physically..
Not knowing what our bodies are doing or going to do
I had a misscarriage 1 month ago. after I had a D&C I had no bleeding none!
2 weeks to the exact day of the D&C I had 5 days of light to a med bleeding. then it stopped suddenly. now 1 week later I feel cramping and eating like AF is coming again. So Im not sure what to think
Your not alone and IM so sorry youa re going through this HUGS to you

Thank you so much for your reply.

I am so happy to say THAT ITS FINALLY HERE

I started spotting on 21 June and it really progessed 24 June. How long its going to last is another thing but I dont care ITS HERE

Emotionally I dealt with m/c really well as I already have 2 children, girl of 10 and boy of 5. To try for a third was a last minute decision by myself, hubby wanted more but I was full sure I was finished but then the broodiness took over.

Physically it took me alot longer to recover as I opted for natural. I dont regret it for one minute but nothing prepared me for what I went through. Then to have AF playing games with me was just dragging it all up again as I started to think m/c had somehow totally messed me up.

Anyway I must stop raving now but I am so thrilled. It sounds like she is about to make an appearance for you as well

Take care of yourself.

I remember you....we both had m/c in April...I'm glad it has all worked out for you with af...with me...I bled from my m/c for 6 days (April 21-26)..then I had my first real af (June 1-5). CD 1 I started using bcp for June and today (June 27) I started spotting so af is arriving to start ttc for July!!! I'm so so nervous...are you ttc again???

Hi there,

Yep I am going to try again. I was going to let myself have AF for July so wont try too hard this month LOL. We have 2 children already girl of 10 and a boy of 5. I really thought family was finished after the boy but the broodiness got the better of me hence my 3rd pregnancy.

Me and hubby have both agreed that god forbid if I was to miscarry again that we would call it a day. Emotionally I am fine but physically it was awful.

Keep in touch as it would be nice to see us get BFP after being through so much. The only thing that concerns me is that it took 4 years to conceive my daugher and 16 months for my son. My third pregnancy took only 3 months. So I am not sure whether it will happen as quick the next time or whether I am looking at a long struggle ahead. I might just give myself a year as I am 35 now, and I know this is not old but I am not getting any younger either LOL. Either way I am blessed to have the 2 I already have.

Glad to hear AF is arriving for you as well.

Not sure do I count day 1 from the spotting which started on 21 June or from when it became normal which was 24 June. The amazing thing is before I got pregnant my periods were the 24th of every month!!!!

well...'they say' spotting is cd 1. So if you saw more than just on tissue I would count June 21 as cd 1. As for me.. the spotting I saw was on tissue.. only because I had a BM and since I was pushing I guess some blood decided to show on the tissue but now my mucus is clear again...if I push I may see some light brown on tissue so I'm going to wait and see... I need a cd1 to get this show on the road for July!! I'm done on the BCP so I'm expecting af.....
