Default Can anyone recomment a good RE in Atlanta?

I went to one doctor here and i was not really pleased because she did not seem to know much about diabetes. She was the complete opposite of my endocrinologist. I need a good reproductive endocrinologist who is up to speed on diabetics with pcos. Any suggestions?

Default RE's in Atlanta

Try www.ivf.com

This is the website for GA Reproductive Specialists. I am seeing Dr. Sills and another woman on here is seeing Dr. Perloe. It is a wonderful practice.

Definitely Dr. Mark Perloe. I have been having regular periods every 28 days since August. My insulin level is in the normal range too.

Whoever you decide to see, please do NOT go to Dr. Mitchell-Leef. On my first visit with her, she sat down with me for 10 minutes in her office and never examined me. She told me I wouldn't have a normal period until I am within 20 pounds of my ideal wieight. She prescribed Metformin and spironactone and sent me on my way. I know losing the weight would help termendously, but she kept lecturing me. I left there in tears.

Good luck!
Niki
