I just want to know. I have been using met since Dec 14th and not have gotten af on my own. I did however upped my dosage on the 26th of March. For the people that met has helped. Is there anyone who it took a few months for it to work???

For me, it took about two months at 1000 mg to get AF. Then it regulated my cycles to every 32 days, and I got pregnant on the first month of Clomid (three months into the Metformin).

I started taking Met in mid march and got AF April 6th. Not really sure if it was the Met or not, but that was my experience. TTC now, and haven't gotten my May AF so keeping my fingers crossed that Met and Clomid have worked it's miracles. Haven't lost any weight on these 2 months of Met, but most acne has cleared up. Can't go wrong with that!!

I had quick success, but I know there are some ladies around here who had to wait 6-12 months for maximum resluts. Also, remember it doesn't work for everyone. The standard effective dose around here seems to be 1500-2000mg and some take even more for it to work. Good luck!
