Question Can blood sugar affect blood pressure?

Can your blood sugar being too high or too low have an affect on your blood pressure? My BF is having a difficult time stabilizing his blood sugars and at the same time his blood pressure is way out of whack. He is working with his doctor on this, but wanted to see if anyone knows if one can affect the other. He doesn't go back to see his doctor for another week. I will also do a search on the internet, but wanted to see if one of you have any answers! Thanks!

Thanks for the answers. That was what I was thinking, but I just wanted to see if it was worth talking to the doctor about.

i just been diagnosed with pcos and my Blood pressue is high. So my dr has sent off tests to check for diabetes and cholestarol levels. So i asume that blood sugar can effect your blood pressure as it was diabetes that she mentioned first. iykwim.
