I'm on 7dpo and have been on met for 5 weeks now. I finally ovulated according to my temps on 1500mg of met. I am temping since I am TTCing. my temps have dropped the past 3 days and now I am .1 degree above my coverline - basically that means my period is coming asap. But I'm only 7dpo. My ovulation date was determined by Fertility Friend's software (due to my temps rising) but now I wonder if somehow it goofed. Or could Met have shortened my luteal phase??? My first ovulatory cycle back in Feb I had a 13 day luteal phase. Then last month (my second cycle) I had a 13-15 day luteal phase (I missed some temps so it was questionable as to which day I O'd). Now I am freaking about only 7 days!!
Any advice?? Has this happened to you? Or do you know of Met messing with the luteal phase? Thanks in advance

hmmm.. I have never heard about met affecting the LP in a bad way. I haven't noticed any effects of that sort. Did you sleep with a fan or have you done anything different that could have affected your temps?
Not that I can think of. We have the a/c blasting because it is sooooo hot out right now. But we have a comfy warm blanket on the bed and plus I have my husband a.k.a. my personal space heater plus the 2 cats cuddling with me. Not sure how I could be colder, I thought my temps would be higher!!!

My chart looked like the rocky mountains the month I got pregnant with my son. I found it very unreliable and if you have any sleep interruptions or even get up to pee in the middle of the night it can throw off your temps.
Hope you can get to the bottom of it!

Can/Did Met shorten your luteal phase? 
I found it very unreliable and if you have any sleep interruptions or even get up to pee in the middle of the night it can throw off your temps.
