Can exercise cause BTB? I may have asked this before because it happened a few months ago... if so, I apologize.
After a couple months of being bad and not going to the gym, I've finally started going regularly again. Yay! I'm feeling AWESOME except today I was absolutely drained after my workout. About 90 minutes after I got home, the floodgates opened (tmi.. sorry). No cramping, though and nowhere near "that time"... continuous NuvaRing use and I'm only 2 weeks into this one.
The reason I ask if it could be related to the exercise is because before when I was working out regularly (but on another BCP) the same exact thing happened! Usually the flow would taper off pretty fast, but as soon as I had a good workout again it would start back up! Then I got an icky cyst and pretty much turned into a ball on the couch for a month with my heating pad.
I did ask my doc, but he didn't think it was connected. However, I haven't had any BTB with the NuvaRing except for a brief time when I switched to a night shift for a couple weeks to cover (so that I won't count because I know I messed myself up there). Every other BCP I've been on has ended up with BTB... and we switch... and repeat....
Whatcha think? Could it be something completely unrelated that I may be doing while exercising? |
