Hi there all I'm reletivly new to this site joined a while back but then had comp problems so was off line for ages. I'm Clare 25 and from near Leeds. I found out I had PCOS in Nov 2005 and that I didn't ovulate. april 2006 I had a HSG done to check tubes etc before starting fertility treatment and fell pregnant the same cycle, some kind of miricle as was told I wouldn't ovulate on my own!

Hello people,

Sorry for being dumb whats a HSG, im not good with all these terms yet.

Im going to docs tomorrow to see if he will put me on metformin, so fingers crossed, I might eventually get a period!!

HSG is where they can check your tubes. The radiographer does it and injects a type of dye into you and xrays it going through your tubes. if it comes out the other end your fine, if not you need to go for other proceedures to unblock them.

I am now back on slow release metformin and i'm not really getting the side effects i got before
