Default Can I re-grow thicker hair?

I noticed my hair thinning when I was a teenager. Now, after 13+ years of wondering what was going on, I know I have PCOS. My hair is very very thin. Is there anything I can do to re-grow it, or is it too late?

Regaine can help .. but not if its diffuse thinning ... spiro, flutamide, propecia are all worth a bash ... I am looking into wigs

Thanks... what is diffuse thinning? all over? b/c that's what I've got. My hairline changed umpteen years ago, but it's still manageable... but my hair is just very thin all over. I take spiro and haven't seen a difference.

I have had thinning hair for 3 years. Recently , my scalp has became very dry and itchy and I was losing more hair more rapidly and really got me panicking . I have tried different products but non has work out to be effective at all. I started to use the naturalis hair recovery cream a friend recommended to me . I was told that hair recovery treatment cream will work but I got to be patience as it will take time. I noticed significant a reduction of hair loss and it stopped my hair fall-out after my first month of using the product . Well it has been 5 months since , I am seeing new hair growth , fuzz sprouting and I'm growing hair in front. My hair really looks nice and it is really filling in nicely the thinning areas. The progress is gradual but the product does work and I will definitely continue using it . This product has save my self-esteem. You can find out more here www.organiconline.com.sg

Wow, thanks Finny! I'll take a look. My DREAM would be to have thicker hair again! I feel a little bit vain for saying it, but... I'm sure the gals here can understand.

Diffuse thinning is when you lose hair from all over your scalp not just in the classic female pattern balding .. I have MALE pattern thanks to PCOS and diffuse as well .. means that my hair is thinning .

When I took biotin, my hair grew like weeds. I don't know if it got thicker (my hair is already very thick), but it certainly grew fast.

Some people have also reported success with something called Shen Min (I've seen it in health food stores.)

My hair was the thickest when I was using Nizoral shampoo on a regular basis...it smells, but it worked.

if you do a search in Goggle for female pattern balding it wilkl show you its very common in PCOS its caused by high androgens which we have some women grow loads of body hair others go bald !! ....... its also known as androgen genetic alopecia
