Yes, you can take Met with Vitex and many cysters do (I do). As far as other herbs, please keep in mind that interactions between herbs and prescription meds aren't studied much so there's no way to know for sure about all of them. One natural supplement, psyllium husks (i.e. Metamucil), used as a fiber supplement, has been shown to inhibit the effectiveness of Met, and should be taken at least 3 hours before or after taking Met.
