Lightbulb Can I take Glucophage while I am low carbing??

I am starting to low carb today and I was wondering if I can still take my glucophage? Any suggestions or experiances would be greatly apperiated

I am taking Metformin, I'm not sure what the difference is between that and glucophage, but from what I have read and heard low carbing helps reduce the side effects. I hope this helps.

For many cysters, the combination of low carbing and Metformin/Glucophage yeilds great results in terms of weight loss, even when either the low carbing *by itself* or the met/gluc *by itself* did not help in any significant way. I know it worked that way for me.

In Atkins book he suggests not super low carbing while on drugs like Metformin. Those aren't his exact words, but I think I wouldn't go as low as 20grams (carbs) while on Metformin. I think you could get too low of blood sugar. That's how I translated it when I read it. I have been researching this myself.
