Default Can light periods get heavier on BC?

I know you always hear that the pill makes periods lighter, but is it possible for someone who's always had very very *light* periods to get heavier ones with the hormone intervention? I'm just curious, honesly, because Shark Week is approaching and it'll be my first on the pill. I've always had very light periods (as in, my 'regular' counts as most peoples' 'light' flow, and my 'light' is just spotting), and I know I won't know until it comes, but... yeah. Will the pill make my period invisible, or is it possible it'll make it more... substantial? Any experience with this?

My periods were infinitely more painful on Nuvaring. I'm not really sure why! It never happened in the past, with any other pills.

Never wrestle with a pig. You both get dirty, and the pig likes it.

My periods are much heavier on bcps, and much more painful. I've been on Alesse, Mircette, and Lo-Ovral and I've had those problems on all of those pills. Now I'm on Yaz and I hope that this pill is different.
