| Medical sources consider 1500 mg to be the least effective dose, but dosage really depends on how easy your hormones are to move. Most Docs have their patients work their way up gradually to 1500 mg and then look at symptoms draw bloodwork to see if things improve.
For me, some of my insulin numbers were techincally normal, but after some time on the drug (and diet and exercise), they went furtherup in the lower end of the normal ranges. So this is more normal for me.
