Default Can someone help with LH/FSH ratio

I need help understanding this.. I was looking over my lab results..

Where it says LH/FSH it reads 4.7/10.0........What does this mean, and if it is bad...HOW bad is it, and is there a way I can take care of this Naturally? I was also told my Insulin level was a 29 *eeeek*. So they upped my Met from 1500mgs too 2000 mgs.. After 2 weeks on this dose, I already notice a HUGE difference. My hair is once again growing back LIGHTER and less course, I was also told I have Hashimoto, and now take 50mcg a days for this... Anyway, I got off target her.. So HOW bad is that ratio, and does anyone know if NPC can help even this out?

TIA for any thoughts with this

The LH/FSH ratio is usually 1:1. This ratio is often used to dx PCOS. Yours is obviously above that, which is typical for a PCOS woman. I found that with myself, my LH came down when I started met and started eating better.

My hormones got a little more regular when I took Met and started taking care of myself, too. Good luck!

Default Lh/ Fsh

hi typically a woman with pcos would have LH that is 3 times the FSH. however they also state that if your LH is over 11 then it is high.
also it is absolutly and totally essential that you get your LH checked on day 3 of your cycle. if it was taken after this then throw that results out the window they are invalid, go back and get them done on day 3!! then you will see where you stand!
