Default Can someone please explain........

Hi ladies....

I have a few questions here....

What is:

Diabeties II
Insulin Resistant

Also:

Dr had me on Met (ttc'ing) and after drilling surgery I stopped taking it (on my own.) I have tested my sugar level at 10 first thing in the morning, and I have been itching like crazy on my feet and hands. My dad is type II and he said he itches like that when his sugar is to high? Dr gave him itch pills and siad that it is related to being type II.

I am seeing the Dr an Monday and she had sent me for a few blood tests last week.....what should my levels be at if I am considered type II? Should I start taking Met again anyways?

Any help would be great!
Take care!

My hands and feet itch all the time too, I thought maybe I was alergic to something. I had no idea that it could come from diabetes. Thanks for addressing the issue.
