I have to take my Glucophage after dinner, and not eat anything afterwards. If I do I am up in the bathroom all night pooping and puking! Anyone else have to take their meds this way? I think some girls have to eat after they take it or they will get sick, but if I do that, watch out! Anyone else?

Well all along I've been taking Met either halfway through my meal or right after eating. I haven't had any bad side effects from Met, only the initial diarreah, but that only lasted 4 days for me.

I can take Met on an empty stomach, but then I get the shakes and need to eat. Don't know if I helped any, but hope you get the answer you are looking for!
