I'm 5'3 and fluctuating between 101-103 pounds right now, but just 3.5 months ago I was a much healthier weight of 110.
Does anyone know how to GAIN weight? I'm on metformin (which made me lose 3-4 pounds right away) and on a strict no starch no sugar diet (lost the remaining 4 pounds or so). What am I gonna do? Yes granted I have more energy now than before b/c of the food I eat, but I feel miserable b/c nothing fits me anymore! All my clothes are big and I've lost what little hips I had to begin with.
I know I'm ranting on about something so stupid that people might throw evil glares at me. But to me this is a problem. I've had a very hard time putting on the weight over the years and finally being happy to all of a sudden being back down to my early college weight. Not to mention that I had a lot of lung issues when I was smaller. Both my lungs have collapsed which I blame to being underweight.
So any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated. Or anybody else going through the same thing.
You could try eating some higher fat foods like cheese, nuts, avocados. Also you can try upping the amount of calories you consume daily.
I was in your shoes at one point (due to stress, totally unhealthy), and it did suck.
However, it could also be possible that this is just a healthy weight for you, and buying some new clothes at the right size might help you feel better about the way you look. Good luck!
I know exactly how you feel girl... I've lost 8lbs. I'm 5'9" and now 117lbs. I used to fluctuate between 125 and 130 and it was a good weight for me. I've been going to the gym and its been helping to put on some of that weight back on in muscle

You might try a diet made for a weight lifter they eat a lot of calories but they still have to be healthy good for you stuff, if you can find a drink supplement that doesn't have to much junk in it that would be good b/c it won't fill u up for very long, and you are still ready to eat at the next meal. Also full fat milk and yogurt might help as well.
