Just wondering if any one else has had this problem? I have been on my period for 13 days now and it isn't stopin'. Dec/05-Feb/06 (yes for THREE months) the same thing happened. That time I went to the OBGYN and they put me on the pill. I don't want to do that again so I thought I would ask around here..

Some type of herbal suppliments would be great

I had a 6 week bleed in fall of 2004, only stopped and restarted to normal length by prometrium.
Last aug-oct...I bled....taking Lydia Pinkham (from walgreens, menopause section) did make it stop...but then I didn't have another menses until 2-22-07....and I am still bleeding - this is cd20 for me...and I have nauseated cramps also...just today though, not during the whole period....

I am using natural progesterone cream - have been since cd17 but the bleeding hasn't let up yet....everyone says it's probably normal, since this is my first menses since last fall.

sorry I couldn't be of much help...but I will check back to see others suggestions.

Crazy thing... I felt SOOO wiped out yesterday I went and got some iron pills and took one then and one this afternoon. I was also drinking red raspberry leaf tea.. I don't know what did it but I have almost stopped!!! ( oh and my honey and I were intimate). Maybe a combination of all of it!!

ok so I thought I stopped and I didn't. I think I need to stay on the red raspberry leaf tea every hour for about a week!!! I want to be healthy again!

You definitely need to get on some provera or similar. Extended bleeding can be a sign of endo, so you need to be seen. It's not an emergency or anything, but I'd make an appt with your doc.
