Question can u wax after shaving for so long?

I was wondering if you can have arms/legs waxed after shaving them for a number of years? I have been told you can't but i am not sure if it is true. People try to say that when you shave it won't come back thicker/darker but I don't believe that is true at all. Let me know if any of you have shaved and then switched to waxing and how long before you made the switch. Thanks

I started getting waxed after a decade of shaving. I get my legs, bikini zone, chin, sideburns, lip and underarms waxed. It's fantastic! I would never willingly go back.

The hair grows back naturally (i.e. tapered) rather than having a blunt edge where it was cut with a razor. So no "prickly" problems. You can stay hair-free for weeks rather than a few hours.

The only trouble is that you have to let it grow out a bit before you can get it waxed. THAT is a bit of a problem. But after 4 or 5 trips the roots become weak enough it is easy to pull them out and they grow back slower.

I recommend it to friend

Default I don't wax but...

I've been epilating for a year now, and would not go back to shaving. I don't get to be hair free for as long as I would like, but the hair is much thinner and there are less of the little critters!!!

Doesn't hurt any more than being waxed, and in the long run is cheaper, AND I can do it at 3am if I wish. I can't see there is much difference between epilating and waxing, but I deal better with the slight discomfort. Personal choice as far as that is concerned. My mate goes to a salon because she can't bear to cause herself such discomfort. I do it myself because I refuse to pay someone to inflict that on me!!!

It's not as bad as I make it sound!!!

Default where can u get an epilator?

Hi stedders

just wondering where you can get an epilator? I haven't seen those things in years. I think my grandmother has one but it is an older model. I am so glad to hear that you can get stuff waxed even after shaving. I don't have a lot of money to spend on salon waxing either so I would probably do better with something like what you are talking about. Thanks for the advice grrrls!
