Default can yogurt help us lose belly fat?

I lost 75 pounds a year and 1/2 ago, went back on Paxil, got married in Feb. 2006, and noticed a gain of about 10 lbs. Went off Paxil cold turkey on 9/21/06 and now breaking out from an herbal detox. I heard on the radio this morning about those energy drinks making people hyper. I wonder what it would do for our metabolism? Low carb ones anyhow. I am on a low carb diet again. It is the ONLY diet that has ever WORKED.
I am not having many more withdrawls from coming off Paxil. I only take 500 mg of glucophage/metformin. I used to weigh about 245 and now I am about 182 or so. Just from how my clothes are in fitting.
I think i ate more dairy on the diet the first time around. I say that because now the diet isn't working as well.
I was eating yogurt at lunch and sometimes at breakfast, the sugar free kind. Does anyone think yogurt can help with weight loss???
also, what is an easy way to get ketosis?

That is what I heard, but I don't know how true it is. I am a skeptical person though.

I was told by a friend of mine who went to a dietician that if you replace 2 meals a day with special k or some other healthy cereal you can lose weight. I have never tried it and I don't think she has either.

Good luck

Default yogurt??

Thanks. I was wondering about that cereal too. If I ate cereal for breakfast and lunch, what would I eat for dinner? I wonder what the stipulations are in eating cereal, can you eat fruit on it like blueberries or strawberries, at least ones low in sugar content. I know I can do it for breakfast and lunch, it will be hard for supper because my husband and I eat dinner together. It would be hard to cook a meal for just one.

I know dinner is the hardest meal to figure out because its the "big one" of the day. But if I was going to try the cereal thing. I would most likely have a healthy good size breakfast and cereal for lunch and dinner. You could always put fruit in it or have a yogurt along with it. Last night I ate kind of late so I had "yogurt Burst Cheerios" strawberry flavor. They are delic.

Good luck

Julie

yeah, you are right. I should do it for lunch and diner. It only makes sense. Your metabolism is slow at night. I think I will give it a try for a week or so.
I wonder if oatmeal counts?
I am eating a heart healthy brand for breakfast right now.
