can you block a user?

I never would of thought in a million years I would ask this on soulcysters but I want to know if there is a way to block seeing a certian users new threads or responds to threads?

You can add them to your ignore list. Go to your User CP and add the exact nickname to the ignore list. You won't see her posts anymore. Trust me, it works like a charm.

I have a quick question though, someone wrote me a PM and I wanted to respond to call a truce... but it only shows her as guest with none of the points/post counter and I was wondering if thats because she turned around and blocked me? if thats the case then obviously I wont bother trying to send my responds.. but I was curious what the other person would see once u blocked them?

Someone listed in the way you've described sounds like they've been deleted as a member. The person may have asked Kat to delete their account or it was done for them because they were not adhering to board rules.

Were they a trouble maker? If so, the latter reason probably applies.

oh... well the person was using really bad launage and disrespect to other cysters so I guess thats most likely the case then.

thanks for sharing... but whos Kat? Ive seen that name a few times but Im sort of in the dark as to who it is? is she a mod here?

I feel like such a ninny, I never really thought about who would of started soulcysters I guess I was still caught up in the whole amazing happiness of finding the site lol.
