Default Can you get false + HPT from taking Vitex??
Well, here's the story......

I've been taking Vitex since the end of January.....bbs started hurting around 3 weeks ago (thought it was the vitex), then alittle over a week ago very nauseated, but had a cold and thought that's why i didn't feel good. got af a week ago.....mostly brown, clotting, some bright red discharge, and really heavy one day....i had to use tampons....sorry to be so graphic. plus, i still feel nauseated in the mornings, and bbs still sore.

anyway....last night i decided to take a HPT if my temp was still up in the 98.0's....and it was 98.1. and right away the test line came up +, even before the control line came up!! and then after 1-2 minutes the test line was way darker then the control line.

i know....a line is a line!!! but i'm so nervous!! especially with the bleeding last week!! i have an appt w/dr at 10:30, but i just can't sit here for 3 hours! lol!!!!

hey it sounds good to me i spooted for about 3 weeks with this lil one! let us know how ya go at the dr's But i reckon GONGRATS is in order! a line is a line after all! oh & it could have possiably been implantation bleed to!?

Thank you Hayles.....i just never imagined that i would ever get a BFP....a real one!! i'm so nervous...shaking!! lol!!!

ok....went to my appt. and he said he's sure it's +. he wanted to do a blood test and i'll know in an hour!! oh man.....i can not sit still!!! heehee!!

How exciting!! I started taking Vitex in January also, but just stopped taking bcp 3 weeks ago. So, this gives me hope! I can't wait to see what happens!!

Thank Shell!! vitex worked wonders for me, plus lowcarbing....or at least healthy carbs!!

i got the call from my doc and he said congratulations!!!!! it's a BFP!!! i'm still pinching myself....i just can't believe it!!! i have an u/s tomorrow to check dates!!
