Question Can you recommend a good book on PCOS?

I'm sure you must have read many books on PCOS. I was wondering which you thought were the best ones? I am a college student and on a VERY limited budget, so I can olny afford a few books. Which ones do you recommend I buy? Thanks.

I would suggest the first 3 books PICTURED on PCOS, and the first book PICTURED on Syndrome X (it has a really good section on PCOS)

The links on that page will take you straight to Amazon.com...once there, check to see if there are used copies available - sometimes you can get the same books for more than 50 % off.

Brigid -

I just thought of another option that is cheaper than the books...

Purchase a few 3 ring binders, some cheap printer paper, and a 3-hole punch...

Then spend some time printing out the articles in the Research Articles forum (at the bottom of each thread is a "printer friendly format' button)

While I have all of the books on PCOS, I get most of my research from the Net...

Just a tought...

I have to agree with Kat. We are told at uni, books are out of date the day they are published (some more so than others), you are far better to read the research articles, that way you are up to date with the research & don't have to spend much.
