Hi,
I wondered this too when I was having mine last year, so I rang and checked.
You don't have to stop taking your Met just for a HSG as the dye that is inserted is only going into your uterus and tubes, it does not come into contact with any blood. If you were having a scan that involved putting the dye in intravenously then you would have to stop Met a few days before. You can just keep taking it right through without worrying, it is better not to have a break anyway if you can help it.
