Can your ovaries overstimulate on soy? I decided to start the soy mid-cycle as I wasn't ovulating and wasn't getting AF. I did 40 mg of soy isoflavones a day from day 26-30 and yesterday was my last day. Starting on day 2 of the soy I started having O pains on my right ovary. My right ovary is my good ovary, the left one has never actually ovulated in the time I've been having kids (since 2000) so that was a good sign. I've been having those pains off and on since then. The last two days I have TONS of EWCM. I usually have it for 4-5 days before O so that seems on track with when you should O after taking soy (I've heard 5 days after you stop the soy). Today though my right ovary REALLY hurts! I always feel O pains so I know what they feel like but this feels more painful and almost swollen. My temps are up higher as well but I haven't O'd yet so I don't know why they are up. We aren't ttc until June so there is no chance I'm pregnant. I can't go to a doctor because I am doing this all on my own. I've heard of people on Clomid having their ovaries overstimulated but I'm not 100% sure what that means. Is it possible for the same thing to happen on soy? When I do ovulate (I'm on 2000 mg of Met so I have ovulated naturally a few times) I have really strong ovulations but nothing like this. Thanks for any help!
