Question Cancer & Hystorectomy at 27

Well, I just want to know if anyone has or is going to have a hystorectomy?

I am so scared as to what I will feel like afterwards. I have Uterus Cancer, just diagnosed, doctor says it was caused by my PCOS and the high estrogen levels (he is a PCOS specialist). Anyways, been depressed, especially since I wanted to have my own children and now will not be able to carry my own baby, unless I have a miracle from God.

But I would really like to know if anyone has had this surgery (at least the hystorectomy part) and how it was for them aftewards and how they are living with it now?

I really need some help. Thanks.

Hello,
I am scheduled for an abdominal complete hysterectomy Aug. 30th. I was diagnosed with PCOS in 2003 and had known for many years that I had endiometriosis. Recently I have been researching my family history and have found that there has been a lot of female cancers. I do not how we will feel after the hysterectomy, that is why I signed up. I am asking the same question. What is PCOS life after hysterectomy? I have been told my several friends and relatives that I personally will experience a lot less pain. Every month I am down about 11 days, because of the symptons and endiometriosis. I am looking forward to the surgery, yet also anxious.

You probably already know this, but look up hystersisters.com. There are excellent forums and someone there should be able to guide you.
