Well, I have had untreated PCOS for about 15 years now. I have got every single sign and symptom except the thinning hair. I went in to see a RE for the first time about two weeks ago and he tells me that my uterine wall is unusually thick and he is going to schedule me a biopsy. So I went in today and they did the biopsy. It hurt really bad. First of all they couldnt get me to stop bleeding. Which added to my nervousness. Then I was so sore afterwards that I could barely walk.
I wasnt afraid before that I could have cancer but now I am terrified!! I checked out the risk factors for endometrial cancer and I fit into every one of them. Also, I checked out the signs and symptoms and I have every one of them also... I am really freaking out now... I am so scared... I wanna have kids someday. I cant deal with cancer!! I HAVE TO WAIT TWO WEEKS TO GET MY RESULTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The only good news out of all this is that I love my doctor. He is a really nice guy and he explained the procedure to me, etc!! So I am lucky there.
I dont know what to do!!!!!!

Ohhh dear-Waiting is the worst part I bet. You need to put your mind elsewhere, maybe think of what you will do when you find out your results are NEGATIVE. Read an awesome book, exercise, meditate. I'll be praying for you and lots of hugs! You Will make it through!

Thank you so much. I am really trying to keep myself busy. I am in the middle of a really good book right now and I think that I am going to immerse myself in that so that I dont worry about this. The waiting is the worst part.........

I went in on April 12th for a biopsy too, I get the results early next week. I am just as scared as you are but something keeps telling me that it is going to be okay! In the mean time, I'll be thinking of you  Let us know what happens! | |

BIG HUGS!!!!! Just know you're not alone. If you ever need to talk to someone I am always here. My dad may not have had Uterine cancer but he died of breast cancer and I know all about the waiting to see....On a positive note, my dad was supposed to have to wait 2 weeks too and they called us a day after testing. Generally a no answer is a good answer.
