I went to see a PA (physicians Assistant) today.
I have been feeling weak, tired, achy, itchy and had a deep dry chest cough for about a month and half.
I showed the doctor this lump on the back of my nack and he said it's a lymph node, nothing to worry about. But uh.... I am worried. I am supposed to see an MD next week and schedule a biopsy. I am hoping this all goes well. I just wanted some relating stories stuff to inform me or ease my mind. Please share your knowledge and I promise to keep posted. Thank you.

I would try not to worry too much until you get the biopsy results. I have a gland on the side of my cheek bone that I had to have a biopsy on. When I went to the ENT they told me that it could be a cyst on the gland but that was not usually the case. So I worried about it until I got the results back. It came back as a cyst on the gland. So try not to worry too much and make yourself sick over it. Keep us updated as to how it goes.

Dont let yourself get sick over worry. My mom found a lump on her neck and it was non hodgkins lymphoma cancer however she is a survior and was cured. Alot of times with lumps it comes back as cysts. You will be ok keep your head up!!! Be happy you found it darling ... !!! Be strong and keep us posted!
I just wanted to say I am sorry you are having such a scare and I hope everything goes well. Please Keep us posted.

I would try not to worry to much until after you have the biopsy...I know it's so hard not to worry about something like that. I hope everything goes ok.
Thanks for your posts.
I havent talked to the MD I was reffered to yet because he is on vacation. I live in the woods in Oklahoma (newly) and there are very few doctors that my insurance covers. I have been trying to put it out of my mind. I have been keeping really busy with stuff around the house and at work. Anything to keep it out of my mind. Friends and family havent been real supportive of my worries I think it's only because they don't want to think about it happemning to me. That is actually very sweet. I had a neighbor tell me fat people dont get cancer so I'm safe. HA! wouldnt that be nice. Then everyone would just get fat. Are people really that clueless. oh well it is back in the woods. I dont expect everyone to have common scense. Thank you so much.
Could you tell me about your mom, what treatment did she go through? How long did she have to fight? I have been reading up now and then when I'm not scared of freaking myself out. It's always good to be educated right?
