There is no conclusive evidence that I am aware of or any legitimate studies I have come across suggesting carb blockers work. Studies done by those selling the product only focus on short-term intervals.
The critical ingredient of these products is an extract from the kidney bean. The extract is supposed to break down enzymes and prevent them from turning to fat.
Most products claim the tablets reduce between 30 and 45 grams of carbohydrates from entering the body.
Again, there are no reliable long term studies concerning carb blockers and the supplement industry is not regulated by the FDA.
